Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know for a Confident Experience

We know that cosmetic tattooing and beauty treatments are personal decisions. To help you feel informed, secure, and excited, we’ve compiled answers to the most common questions we hear from clients.

New Clients

I’ve never had cosmetic tattooing—what should I expect?

We start with a one-on-one consultation to talk through your goals, answer questions, and design your perfect shape or beauty plan. We never proceed until you’re completely happy with the plan.

How do I prepare for my first appointment?

Avoid sunburn, coffee, and blood thinners like aspirin or fish oil on the day of your appointment.

For brows: Come with natural brows (no waxing or tweezing for at least a week).

For lips: Gently exfoliate and keep them well hydrated the week before.

Depending on your treatment, we’ll give you clear precare instructions during your initial consultation.

Do I need a patch test before my appointment?

A patch test isn’t required, but if you have very sensitive skin or known allergies, let us know—we’re happy to arrange one for your peace of mind.

How soon can I get an appointment?

We’re often booked 2–4 weeks in advance. Reach out early to secure your preferred date!

Cosmetic Tattooing

What is cosmetic tattooing?

Cosmetic tattooing is a semi-permanent technique that uses specialised pigments to enhance features like brows, lips, and eyes. Results last 1–3 years, depending on your skin and lifestyle.

Is it painful?

Discomfort is minimal. We use a strong numbing cream before and during treatment, and most clients find it very tolerable.

How long do treatments take?

Appointments typically last 1.5–2 hours, including a full consultation and mapping session to create your perfect shape.

How long do results last?

Feathering / Microblading: 12–24 months

Powder / Nano Shading Brows: Up to 36 months

Lip Blush: 1–3 years

Eyeliner: 2–3 years Touch-ups are recommended every 12–18 months for best results.

What if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

We recommend waiting until you’re no longer pregnant or breastfeeding. If you’re breastfeeding and want to proceed, you’ll need to express and store milk for 48 hours post-treatment.

Can I get a tattoo if I’ve had previous work done?

Yes! We offer corrective work for brows, lips, and eyeliner. Please send us clear photos in advance so we can determine the best plan for you.

Will my brows be shaved or removed?

No. We never shave or remove your brows. We work with your natural hair to create a soft, realistic finish.

Aftercare & Healing

What’s the healing process like?

You’ll experience mild flaking or scabbing for 7–10 days. Avoid getting the area wet, picking at flakes, and applying makeup until fully healed.

Can I wear makeup after treatment?

Avoid makeup on the treated area for 7–10 days. Once healed, you can resume your normal routine.

How should I care for my tattoo?

Keep it clean and dry.

Avoid sun exposure and sweaty exercise.

Use gentle skincare around the area.

Follow any additional instructions given at your appointment.

Waxing & Tanning

How long do waxing results last?

Waxing typically lasts 3–4 weeks. Regular treatments can weaken hair over time, leading to finer regrowth.

Will waxing hurt?

It can sting briefly, but we use high-quality wax and soothing techniques to minimise discomfort.

How long do spray tans last?

Spray tans last 5–7 days, depending on your skincare routine and lifestyle. We recommend moisturising daily to prolong your glow.
